A nice example of an Original German “Tag Der Arbeit” (Day of Labour) commemorative badge dated 1934. Produced for the national Labour Day celebrations held in Germany during the early Third Reich period.
The front features labour-themed imagery including hammer and sickle motifs, central portrait design and eagle emblem above the dated “1934”. The reverse retains its original pin fitting and is maker marked:
“Braunberger & Co. Nürnberg”
Constructed in metal with an attractive aged bronze-style finish and honest period wear throughout. A solid original example ideal for collectors of German WW2 memorabilia, political badges and historical militaria.
