Original WW2 Allied Occupation Propaganda air drop Leaflet – Eisenhower German Airdrop Flyer

Original Second World War Allied propaganda leaflet dropped over Germany during the closing stages of WW2. This late-war psychological warfare leaflet focuses on the Allied occupation of Germany and postwar reconstruction under General Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The front side features Eisenhower alongside text explaining Allied military government policies following the advance into German territory. The reverse carries the bold headline:

“The Postwar Period Will Be Difficult — How Difficult Depends On You!”

The leaflet encourages German civilians to cooperate with Allied authorities, avoid sabotage, help rebuild damaged cities, and reject continued resistance by Nazi fanatics. These leaflets were distributed by Allied aircraft over Germany as part of large-scale psychological warfare operations near the end of the war.

A highly interesting historical piece combining wartime propaganda, occupation policy, and postwar messaging. Original examples are increasingly difficult to find due to their fragile paper nature and wartime use.

Condition shows expected age and wartime wear including folds, creasing, edge wear, and age-related marks consistent with authentic period paper propaganda. Remains very displayable with strong text and imagery on both sides.
